Deborah Slayton

Firm Administrator

Deborah grew up in Franklin Park Borough and currently resides in Moon Township. As Firm Administrator, Deborah is responsible for all administrative, operational and financial functions within the firm. She has over thirty years experience in executive management, operations, administration and client services.

Deborah graduated Magna Cum Laude with a dual major Bachelor of Arts degree in business and communication with emphasis in accounting and psychology. She was on the Dean's list each semester that she attended college and a Delta Epsilon Sigma National Scholastic Honor Society Member, Alpha Psi Chapter.

While self-employed, Deborah continued to pursue educational development and ultimately received her Master of Science degree in Professional Leadership with concentration in training and development from Carlow College, now known as Carlow University.

Prior to entering the field of law, Deborah spent nine years as owner of Direct Executive Service. She specialized in assisting a diverse range of clients with organizational assessments, analysis, development and training. Her services translated to improved operations and increased profitability.

Deborah gained much of her work experience as a result of her twenty-five year commitment to a Certified Public Accounting firm with her final responsibilities as Corporate Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer and Firm Administrator.

Deborah is a member of the Association of Legal Administrators (ALA); Pittsburgh Legal Administrators Association (PLAA) and the Pennsylvania Association of Notaries (PAN). She is a past officer and board member of Benedictine Place (a transitional facility for women and children in crisis) and chair of the finance committee; honorary director to the Northern Allegheny County Chamber of Commerce and a former board member, advisor and chair of the member services committee; former treasurer and elected council member for Woodbridge Condominium Association; past board member of the North Hills Arts Festival; founder and past president of the Womens' Business Development Group.

Deborah has earned certificates and received acknowledgements for her outstanding contribution of time, effort and talent from organizations such as The Carnegie, Big Brothers & Sisters and The Leukemia Society.
