Background

Jennifer Rose grew up in Point Pleasant, West Virginia, a small town south of Parkersburg on the Ohio River. She graduated magna cum laude from Bethany College in Wheeling, West Virginia with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, and was inducted into Psi Chi and Phi Kappa Lambda honorary societies. During her time as an undergrad, Jennifer studied abroad in London, England, served as secretary of her college class and was president of the school's music society.

She went on to work in the activities department of a non-profit skilled nursing facility and subsequently earned a Juris Doctorate degree from The University of Pittsburgh School of Law. During law school, Jennifer participated in the school's Elder Law Clinic where she represented indigent elderly clients in a variety of matters including preparation of estate planning documents and participation in guardianship proceedings in the Allegheny County Orphan's Court. She also clerked for the Honorable Donald Machen of the Allegheny County Court of Common Pleas and the United States Attorney's Office for the Western District of Pennsylvania.

Professional

Jennifer Rose is an associate attorney with Julian Gray Associates where she assists clients in all aspects of the Medicaid application process, including negotiations with long term care facilities and government organizations. In addition, Jennifer counsels clients on a variety of Veterans benefits issues and general estate planning. Prior to joining the firm, she practiced in the area of complex commercial litigation and insurance defense. She is a member of the Allegheny County Bar Association where she sits on the Young Lawyer Division Member Services Committee and the Pennsylvania Bar Association, Elder Law Section.

Personal

Jennifer resides in Brighton Heights with her chubby cat Winston. Her interests include music, travel, skiing and home remodeling.
